Corporate Finance Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is hiring a Senior Associate in its Corporate Finance line of service, based in Qormi. You will work as part of a team of consultants with extensive experience, helping clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution, from deal initiation through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively assist in delivering services to a portfolio of clients, reporting to managers and above
• Contribute to developing your own and your team's technical acumen
• Assist management in delivering various projects
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Stay current with developments in accounting standards such as IFRS
• Build internal relationships and client relationships, including the PwC brand
• Be proactive in learning and development and upskill in related areas

Required profile

• Accountancy qualification
• Between 2 and 3 years of experience in corporate finance
• Experience on financial advisory assignments (raising finance, capital markets, M&A, valuations, due diligence, business strategy and recovery) is an asset

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills with lateral thinking
• Quality written work and clear communication of analysis and reasoning
• Ability to multitask and general business awareness
