Payments DevOps Engineer

About the role

Betsson Group is looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve its Kubernetes and Kafka infrastructure for a high‑performance, multi‑brand payment platform. You will work in a fast‑paced iGaming environment, supporting over 40 online brands and 100+ payment integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters (AWS EKS, Rancher RKE) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Manage a geo‑distributed Kafka messaging platform, including configuration, scaling and troubleshooting.
• Provide self‑service infrastructure tooling for developers and ensure reliable runtime environments.
• Monitor performance and availability with Prometheus/Grafana and resolve incidents on‑call.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and AWS cloud services (EC2, ALB, VPC, EKS).
• Proven track record managing Kafka clusters in distributed setups.
• Hands‑on expertise with Terraform modules, version control and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Ability to work in a hybrid model and participate in on‑call support rotations.
