Aura Coordinator – Guest Experience & Events

About the role

The Aura Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Aura department within Meliá hotels, ensuring an exceptional guest experience through cultural events, personalized service and seamless digital interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing and hosting cultural events, exhibitions and fashion shows, staying current with luxury fashion and music trends.
• Support the Aura Manager and Marketing Manager with in‑house events and ensure compliance with department standards and manuals.
• Personalise guest stays, anticipate needs, manage digital guest experiences and handle incidents following established protocols.
• Maintain Sensory Architecture – lighting, décor, aroma and background music – across hotel areas.
• Process material orders, manage cash and credit‑card payments, and operate the electronic key system.
• Perform front‑desk duties such as check‑in/check‑out, room assignments, courtesy calls and reservation management.
• Provide guests with tourism information, transportation assistance, restaurant bookings and luggage support.
• Respond to guest complaints, execute service recovery gestures and ensure total satisfaction.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned, including room inspections and coordination with other departments.

Required profile

• Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong orientation to customer service with the ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution‑focused attitude.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow brand standards and operational manuals.
