Audit Manager – Insurance

About the role

KPMG Malta is seeking an Audit Manager with insurance audit experience to join its Insurance Audit cluster. You will work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, delivering high‑quality financial statement audits and providing industry insights to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage audits for Life, Non‑Life, Reinsurance and Insurance Intermediary clients from planning to completion.
• Build strong client relationships and provide sector‑specific insights and recommendations.
• Prepare, review and issue audit proposals and support business development.
• Coach, mentor and review the work of a specialised audit team.
• Support cross‑jurisdictional assignments across the KPMG Islands Group.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Insurance Audit Manager in a Big 4 firm.
• Strong eye for detail and excellent English communication skills.
• Professionalism, integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proactive, career‑driven team player with strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• Project management experience, including planning, organizing and coordinating staff and clients.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality results within agreed timelines.
