Assistant Store Manager - Urban Bratz (Baystreet)

About the role

Hudson Group, an international retailer and distributor active in sport and fashion wear, is recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for its Urban Bratz store at Baystreet in Malta. The role reports to the Store Manager and covers the assigned store territory on a full-time basis under an indefinite contract.

Key responsibilities

• Support the store manager in day-to-day operations, supervising, communicating and carrying out store duties
• Supervise, train and motivate staff, and coach new and existing sales associates
• Help plan and implement strategies to attract customers
• Coordinate daily customer service operations such as sales, orders and payments
• Track weekly, monthly and annual objectives and monitor and maintain store inventory
• Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
• Suggest sales techniques and ideas to increase revenue, and communicate with clients to understand their needs
• Analyse consumer behaviour, adjust product positioning and interpret retail data
• Ensure employees follow company policies and set a high standard of work and service

Required profile

• At least 2 years' experience in a retail store, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role
• Familiarity with financial and customer service principles
• Leadership, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, with a problem-solving attitude
• Flexibility to work in shifts

Required skills

• Able to create and analyse reports, spreadsheets and sales statistics
• Proficiency in MS Office
