Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Hard Rock Cafe Malta, part of db Group, is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to guide guests through the shopping experience. Merchandise is a key part of the business, so the role combines guiding, communicating, entertaining and curating memorabilia. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, answer questions accurately and politely, and answer the phone
• Make sales transactions using a point-of-sale system, handle cash and other payments, and keep cash drawers balanced
• Demonstrate product knowledge, determine guest needs through conversation and suggest related or higher-quality items
• Maintain a clean, organised store, keep stock levels right through retail pulls and inventories, and display products according to visual display standards
• Carry out opening, closing and side duties such as cleaning glass and polishing brass
• Entertain guests to create memorable experiences

Required profile

• At least 19 years old
• Able to bend and reach, lift up to 30-pound boxes and stand for up to 8+ hours
• Well-groomed appearance, following uniform guidelines and safety and sanitation standards
• High level of organisation, attention to detail and a positive, friendly attitude
