Aerodrome Safety Administrator

About the role

The Aerodrome Safety Administrator supports the Aerodrome Safety & Compliance Department in ensuring safe and efficient airport operations. You will monitor the Aerodrome Safety Management System, produce safety reports, and contribute to safety promotion activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the Aerodrome Safeguarding Unit for safe operation of aerodrome and terminal facilities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date occurrence records and issue periodic statistical reports.
• Conduct safety inspections, document findings, and present results to relevant boards.
• Maintain documentation for Aerodrome Safety Performance Indicators and monitor trends.
• Prepare data and presentations for Safety Review Board and Runway Safety Team meetings.
• Publish Safety Alerts and contribute to safety promotion campaigns.
• Plan annual training and proficiency assessments for safety personnel.
• Participate in Aerodrome Safeguarding meetings.

Required profile

• Fluent communication in both Maltese and English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Energetic, self‑motivated with a positive mindset.
• Highly organised and capable of working well within a team.
• Ability to plan and manage own workload effectively.
