Accountant - Tax and Legal Line

About the role

PwC is looking for a qualified accountant to join its Finance and Corporate Managed Services team, part of the Tax and Legal line of service. The role sits within an established team of professionals and supports the day-to-day accounting needs of a varied portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Update company books and prepare statutory financial statements and periodic reports, including management accounts
• Assist with accounting queries and accounting-specific engagements
• Help clients stay compliant with all applicable legislation
• Act as a point of contact for clients, help them handle their company's affairs and liaise with auditors and other third parties when needed

Required profile

• Reading or fully qualified in ACCA or a relevant degree in accountancy
• Willingness to keep learning and developing new skills
• Ability to complete tasks efficiently and within deadlines, and to work in a team
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Willingness to work at client premises, which may involve travelling outside Malta
