Senior Settlements Associate

About the role

Shift4 is seeking a Senior Settlements Associate to manage and execute settlement processes, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure system health.

Key responsibilities

• Manage creation, maintenance, authorizations and investigation of settlements using CRM and settlement systems.
• Handle internal and external queries, monitor system health, raise tickets and liaise with technical teams.
• Execute daily system actions, generate reports and support the Settlements Supervisor.
• Participate in testing, new project implementations and document related tasks.
• Design, maintain and document internal procedures and provide training to new team members.

Required profile

• A‑Level qualification or higher.
• Experience in payments, money remittance or similar financial environments; banking experience beneficial.
• Highly organized, meticulous and able to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting.

Required skills

• Familiarity with payment types such as SWIFT, SEPA and TARGET.
• Experience using CRM and settlement systems.
