Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Amusnet Gaming Limited, a leading iGaming software provider in Malta, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its growing team. The role will provide advanced legal expertise across commercial, regulatory and operational matters, supporting the Legal Manager and acting as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of agreements with clients, service providers and third parties.
• Own complex legal matters, providing proactive, clear and commercially‑aligned advice.
• Identify legal and contractual risks in business initiatives and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with external counsel, regulators and corporate service providers as required.
• Support compliance with licensing obligations and regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
• Mentor junior legal team members and contribute to their professional development.
• Develop and improve legal documentation, policies, internal processes and governance frameworks.
• Deliver internal legal training and promote risk‑management best practices.
• Escalate high‑risk or strategically significant issues to the Legal Manager.

Required profile

• LL.D. or equivalent law degree and admission to practice law in Malta.
• Minimum 6 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in commercial and corporate law.
• Strong business acumen and ability to think critically and multitask.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills in English.
