Senior Full Stack Developer

About the role

A financial industry client is recruiting a Senior Full Stack Developer. The role covers gathering functional requirements from internal users, designing end-to-end solutions and leading a small team of developers.

Key responsibilities

• Collect functional requirements directly from internal users and document them in a standard format so they are clear to users, developers and testers.
• Design the end-to-end solution, including inputs, outputs, database access at field level, functional flows, triggers and automation.
• Develop scripts from scratch and maintain existing ones, covering front-end, back-end and data.
• Manage a team of developers, giving guidance on all the responsibilities above.
• Share best practices on software development, such as modularisation, performance and reusability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development (client-facing sector is a plus).
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing other developers.
• Reliable, well organised, eager to learn and team oriented.
• Good written and verbal communication, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly understand business requirements and design a solution.
