Business Intelligence / Data Developer

About the role

A banking client of Castille Resources Ltd is looking to recruit a Business Intelligence / Data Developer for its Information Technology Unit. The role covers data extraction, reporting and data warehouse development using Microsoft technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Implement ETLs using SSIS and Python, and database stored procedures using SQL Server
• Generate XML and CSV files for system data exports
• Develop and maintain SSRS and Power BI reports for business users
• Ensure data quality, integrity and security
• Design, develop and implement data warehouse solutions supporting business intelligence and analytics
• Document business processes and design, build, test and maintain data flows using Microsoft technologies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT
• 3 to 5 years of experience in data development with Microsoft technologies, preferably in the financial sector
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Required skills

• SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) and a strong foundation in SQL and data modelling
• Microsoft SSIS ETL packages and SSRS reports
• Python
• DBT.NET and web applications, and Power BI are assets
