Senior Finance Officer

About the role

FCM Bank Ltd is seeking a Senior Finance Officer to join its growing finance function. The role will ensure the integrity of financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and strengthen internal controls while driving process improvements and automation across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and review balance‑sheet reconciliations, including key control accounts.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Support monthly and annual financial reporting processes and manage month‑end closing activities.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and prior periods.
• Prepare and maintain financial projections, forecasts, and the annual budget.
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and planning.
• Maintain strong internal control frameworks and ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Support preparation of regulatory reporting data where applicable.
• Collaborate with Data, IT, Risk, Compliance and other departments to enhance finance operations.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve data reliability.
• Support development and optimisation of the finance data warehouse and ERP/reporting tools.
• Continuously review finance workflows to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Experienced finance professional with a senior‑level background.
