Senior Finance Executive

About the role

TechBiz Global is recruiting a Senior Finance Executive for one of its leading clients. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, innovative environment, handling a broad range of finance and tax responsibilities while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and compile Malta VAT returns and recapitulative statements.
• Generate VAT reports for external tax consultants and support foreign VAT registrations.
• Ensure secretarial compliance with MBR, BO declarations, annual returns, and transfer pricing regulations.
• Liaise with local and foreign banks for KYC exercises.
• Assist with statutory applications, government grants, cash‑flow monitoring, forecasting, and finance audits.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and handle any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, financial models, data analysis).
