Operations Coordinator – Ship-to-Ship Operations

About the role

Are you an organised and proactive professional with experience in maritime, shipping or logistics operations? Our client is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their team and play an important role in the safe and efficient delivery of Ship-to-Ship (STS) operations. This hands‑on role requires the ability to stay organised, think on your feet and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee STS operations from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Ensure activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures.
• Handle enquiries, quotations, follow‑ups and operational requirements.
• Liaise with contractors and support crafts involved in operations.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Prepare and contribute to regular operational reporting.
• Ensure all activities are properly followed up and closed out.

Required profile

• Experience in maritime, shipping, port operations, logistics or a related field.
• Maritime‑related qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive approach with sound decision‑making ability.
• Comfortable working at pace and managing competing priorities.
• Good understanding of operational procedures and safety.
• Computer literate.
• Fluent in English.
• Clean driving licence.
