Manufacturing Operator – Production Line

About the role

The Manufacturing Operator works on a dedicated production cell, ensuring that printing materials are supplied to the machine and waste is removed promptly. This unskilled but flexible position is essential for maintaining self‑sufficiency within the manufacturing team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security standards with a zero‑incident mindset.
• Apply a Right‑First‑Time quality approach and meet hourly, daily and shift throughput targets.
• Support OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) goals and standard change‑over procedures.
• Operate strictly within SOPs and keep process documentation up to date.
• Participate in waste‑reduction initiatives and operational excellence projects.
• Ensure printing materials are available at the machine and remove waste as required.

Required profile

• Basic computer literacy.
• O‑level qualification in English, Maltese and Mathematics.
• Some experience in manufacturing operations.
• Ability to assess risks, follow procedures and work reliably.
• Strong attendance, teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and willingness to improve continuously.
