Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to provide pragmatic, risk‑based advice that aligns with our business objectives. The successful candidate will work independently, manage competing priorities, and support the company’s growth across commercial, corporate and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements such as NDAs, service agreements and partnership contracts.
• Partner with senior management on strategic agreements and provide actionable legal guidance.
• Lead corporate legal matters including governance, board and shareholder issues, statutory filings and entity management.
• Oversee enhanced due‑diligence procedures and risk assessments for partner and client onboarding.
• Support regulatory compliance initiatives, including GDPR, data‑privacy and AML/CFT frameworks.
• Liaise with regulators, external counsel and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• LL.B. or equivalent legal degree from a recognised university.
• 2–4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
