Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead and oversee MG2i's financial operations, providing accurate, timely, and strategic financial information to senior management and the Board.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day financial operations and ensure sound financial controls.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts under IFRS.
• Coordinate statutory audit and annual financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and monitor performance against budgets.
• Oversee cash‑flow, banking, treasury, payments, receivables and payables.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, Maltese tax, VAT and FSS requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and advice to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Supervise finance staff, promote professional development and maintain internal controls.

Required profile

• Warrant to practise as an Accountant in Malta or recognised qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA) with eligibility for a warrant.
• Minimum five years’ experience in senior finance or accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Maltese taxation, VAT and FSS, and experience with statutory audits.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• High integrity, confidentiality and professional judgement.
