Accounting Advisory & ESEF Professional

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a motivated professional to join its Assurance team, focusing on financial reporting and the full ESEF reporting cycle for listed entities. The role combines advisory work on IFRS reporting with hands‑on ESEF assurance and tagging.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review advisory reports, consolidation workings and group reporting packages in line with IFRS.
• Lead ESEF assurance engagements, including iXBRL tagging, xHTML formatting and EU Taxonomy compliance.
• Advise clients on ESEF reporting solutions, tools and best practices, and coordinate XBRL tagging activities.
• Monitor regulatory updates from ESMA, local regulators and IFRS standard‑setters and communicate implications.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members on IFRS and digital reporting.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CPA.
• 3–7 years of experience in financial reporting, external audit or regulatory advisory.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, financial statement structure and EU regulatory environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ESEF, iXBRL tagging and xHTML formatting.
• Familiarity with ESEF tools (Workiva, AMANA, ParsePort, CoreFiling) – a plus.
• Project management and communication abilities.
