Finance Executive

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Compilation of Malta VAT returns, VAT recapitulative statements and reports for external tax consultants.
• Ensuring secretarial compliance with MBR, BO declarations and annual returns.
• Compliance with transfer pricing regulations and preparation of related surveys.
• Liaising with local and foreign banks on KYC exercises.
• Assisting with statutory applications, government grants, cash‑flow monitoring and forecasting.
• Supporting finance audits and preparing ad‑hoc reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial models, data analysis).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
