About the role

We are seeking an Audit Associate to join our growing Assurance team at AE Business Advisors in Malta. The role offers hands‑on audit experience across a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned audit sections with increasing independence and accuracy.
• Prepare clear and well‑organised audit working papers.
• Identify and document straightforward audit issues and findings.
• Address review points promptly and apply feedback consistently.
• Manage assigned tasks effectively to meet engagement deadlines.
• Communicate progress and challenges clearly to senior team members.

Required profile

• Previous experience in audit, accounting, or finance is an asset.
• Pursuing or intending to pursue ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
