Electronics Engineer

About the role

Hetronic, a leading provider of industrial wireless Radio Remote Control systems, is seeking an Electronics Engineer to investigate and resolve electronics‑related faults across production, testing, validation, supplier activities and customer returns. The role involves hands‑on fault finding on PCBA assemblies, wiring, modules, sensors and communication interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and correct electronics faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analysers and other test equipment.
• Analyse failures to identify root causes related to components, soldering, design, process or supplier issues.
• Prepare technical reports detailing findings, containment and corrective actions.
• Support Production, Testing, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and Supplier Quality teams.
• Develop troubleshooting guides, test procedures and fault‑finding instructions.
• Assist with component evaluation, supplier changes, product modifications and engineering changes.
• Participate in 8D, QRQC, root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers on technical investigations and support new product introductions.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in electronics fault finding and PCBA troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams and technical datasheets.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently to closure.
• Willingness to travel when required.
