Editorial Designer

About the role

The Editorial Designer will work closely with the Print Lead Designer to create high‑quality editorial and print materials, focusing on document design, layout, typography and production for multi‑page, content‑heavy documents.

Key responsibilities

• Design editorial and print materials such as corporate documents, reports, presentations, posters and brand applications.
• Specialise in multi‑page, content‑heavy layouts ensuring strong hierarchy and consistency.
• Collaborate with the Print Lead Designer from brief to final output and manage print supplier interactions.
• Support adaptations, collaterals and rollouts across different formats and follow the 4‑eye methodology for quality.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in editorial, graphic or print design.
• Portfolio demonstrating creative design, document layout and print work.
• Experience designing corporate documents for regulated industries (e.g., banking, insurance, financial services).
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and file‑management skills.
• Fluent in English and able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
• Strong understanding of grids, typography, hierarchy and long‑form document design.
• Proven knowledge of print production, materials, finishes, colour, file preparation and printing methods.
• Experience with Canva and AI tools such as Midjourney or Sora (nice to have).
