Duty Manager - Luxury Boutique Hotel

A luxury boutique hotel in Mdina is seeking a motivated, professional and service-oriented Duty Manager to join its hospitality team. The role suits an ambitious hospitality professional who wants to develop leadership skills in a prestigious setting. The Duty Manager supports daily hotel operations, ensures exceptional guest experiences and helps departmental teams maintain the highest standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior management in overseeing daily hotel operations and Food & Beverage outlets
• Ensure smooth coordination between Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other departments
• Provide operational support to all F&B outlets during service periods, events and high-volume operations
• Deliver exceptional guest service and handle guest requests, feedback and complaints professionally
• Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with hotel procedures and brand expectations
• Assist with VIP arrivals, guest relations and special requests
• Supervise shifts and support team members during operational hours
• Prepare operational reports and communicate updates during handovers

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant operations, front office or hotel operations preferred
• Hospitality Management qualification or a related field is an asset
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an asset
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
