Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

Fundamental Ltd. is looking for a strategic, commercially‑driven Chief Financial Officer to lead the Group’s finance function. Reporting to the Group CEO and Board, the CFO will shape financial governance, strengthen internal controls, and ensure long‑term financial sustainability across a portfolio of companies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group’s financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Oversee preparation of statutory and management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Strengthen internal control systems, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage treasury functions, liquidity, working capital, and banking relationships.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead, develop, and structure the Group’s finance team, promoting a culture of discipline and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent preferred).
• 8–10 years of senior financial leadership experience.
• Proven expertise in financial governance, budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to translate data into strategic insight.
• Experience in multi‑entity or group structures is an asset.
