Finance Manager

About the role

We are a reputable retail group in Malta seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance function. Reporting to the Head of Finance and CFO, you will support the company’s financial strategy and growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full finance function, including preparation of management accounts, financial statements, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow reporting.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape financial strategy and support key corporate projects.
• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team, ensuring high standards of performance.
• Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and manage external audits.
• Implement and monitor robust financial controls across the organisation.

Required profile

• Holder of a Maltese Accountancy Warrant.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a senior finance role, preferably within retail or FMCG.
• Proven ability to manage a complete finance function and drive strategic initiatives.
