Audit Manager

About the role

KPMG Malta is seeking an Audit Manager to join its Audit Function. You will work with a skilled team on diverse client engagements across industries such as financial services, gaming and private enterprises, while developing technical knowledge and leadership capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements for entities in various Maltese industries, including financial institutions, gaming and private enterprises.
• Manage multiple projects, coordinate with local and global audit teams, and monitor financial metrics.
• Make decisions on engagement team structure and workload management.
• Uphold audit quality, adopt new methodologies and technology.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members.
• Supervise and review engagement work timely.
• Support audit leader in client portfolio optimisation and relationship building.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of external audit experience in a Big 4 firm.

Required skills

• Strong eye‑for‑detail and high‑quality delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
