Actuarial Associate - Insurance

About the role

PwC is looking for an Actuarial Associate to join its actuarial team in the insurance line of service. You will work alongside experienced professionals and collaborate with both audit and non-audit clients, advising them on actuarial matters within the insurance industry.

Key responsibilities

• Support the actuarial team in delivering assurance and advisory services to insurance clients.
• Help gather and analyse data on insurance products and risks.
• Work with colleagues to prepare reports and documentation for clients.
• Learn regulatory requirements and industry best practices, including Solvency II.
• Build technical skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Required profile

• A degree in Maths, Statistics, Finance, Engineering or a similar background.
• Passion for starting an actuarial career and an aptitude for learning.
• Strong written and spoken English and good interpersonal skills.
• Organised, able to manage several tasks at once, with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
