Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join Calamatta Cuschieri Moneybase, one of Malta’s leading financial services firms. In this hands‑on position you will own the full recruitment lifecycle while also acting as a People Partner to support employee performance and development across our growing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: role intake, sourcing, interviewing, selection, offers and onboarding handover.
• Partner with hiring managers and department heads to define workforce needs, candidate profiles and recruitment strategies.
• Proactively source talent through LinkedIn, job boards, university career fairs and professional networks.
• Screen and interview candidates, providing clear recommendations and market insights.
• Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the process.
• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System, keep accurate pipelines and produce recruitment reports.
• Track and analyse metrics such as time‑to‑hire, source effectiveness and hiring costs to continuously improve the process.
• Support recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives.
• Build relationships with universities, colleges and external recruitment partners.
• Represent Calamatta Cuschieri Moneybase as a brand ambassador in the talent market.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment or a combined talent/HR role.
• Experience in FinTech, financial services, banking or other fast‑paced regulated environments is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with an Applicant Tracking System.
• Proven ability to partner directly with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
• Exposure to performance management, employee relations or broader HR activities is advantageous.
