Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Relax Gaming is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Legal Team. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will work closely with product, marketing, finance, compliance and IT teams to provide proactive legal guidance that supports business objectives while mitigating risk.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver legal advice on corporate governance, commercial transactions, software licensing, intellectual property and data protection.
• Identify legal risks, develop mitigation strategies and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements, including software licences, vendor contracts, data‑processing agreements and partnership deals.
• Manage contract disputes and support post‑contractual issues.
• Assist with corporate governance matters such as resolutions and internal policy drafting.
• Develop internal legal policies, templates and training programmes to promote best practices.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, compliance, finance and IT/security teams on new product launches and business initiatives.
• Provide guidance on data protection and privacy matters.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, lawyer or advocate with a minimum of 6 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in corporate commercial law and data privacy, preferably within the gaming or technology sectors.
• Analytical, self‑driven and able to take ownership of tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Expertise in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Solid understanding of corporate governance, IP, licensing and data‑protection legislation.
• Ability to develop legal policies and deliver training.
