Regulatory Counsel

About the role

The Regulatory Counsel provides independent legal advice and analysis across multiple gambling jurisdictions. Working within the Regulatory function, you will own a portfolio of licensing and compliance matters, ensuring the business meets all regulatory obligations while supporting product and market initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and interpret regulatory developments in gambling jurisdictions and advise internal teams.
• Conduct legal research on licence conditions, AML/CFT, sanctions, responsible gambling and data‑protection requirements.
• Lead regulatory impact assessments for new products, market entries and strategic projects.
• Prepare, submit and maintain gaming licence applications and ongoing regulatory reporting.
• Develop and maintain regulatory registers, licences and related documentation.
• Manage relationships with regulators and competent authorities, escalating high‑risk issues as needed.
• Provide regulatory input on customer‑facing terms, complaints and policy development.

Required profile

• Mid‑level legal professional with experience in gambling or regulated industries.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver clear, practical advice.
• Proactive risk identification and mitigation mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
