Insurance Audit Manager

About the role

EY is seeking an Insurance Audit Manager to join its Insurance Audit team. You will provide assurance services to a range of clients, from local firms to global brands, helping them improve corporate governance and reporting reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to understand their businesses and audit needs.
• Manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Execute audit procedures, document high‑risk areas, and develop technical expertise in insurance‑specific topics.
• Coach and develop junior team members reporting to you.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with client personnel.
• Stay informed on local and international market trends and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience at a manager level, preferably in insurance audit.
• Proven experience leading, planning, executing, and reporting external audits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Can‑do attitude; knowledge of IFRS 17 is an asset.
