Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the operational processes in the Main Laundry. He/She masters the equipment and uses it safely to produce high‑quality work.

Key responsibilities

• Maintains and reports the functionality of all equipment used in the Main Laundry.
• Operates laundry equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring high‑quality output.
• Follows public health standards and consistently uses correct personal protective equipment.
• Reports any discrepancies, calibration issues, or accidental damages.
• Documents guest and crew items received for processing that are damaged or defective.
• Adheres to the rotation schedule for equipment and shifts to maintain workflow.
• Separates, tags, and delivers items correctly before and after processing.
• Assists with luggage loading and off‑loading and supports Suite Hosts during embarkation as directed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous cruise‑ship experience in a laundry role.
• Physical ability to climb, bend, perform repetitive motions and lift heavy items.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional European language is a plus.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain equipment.
