Technical Sales Solutions Engineer (Mechanical)

About the role

The Technical Sales Solutions Engineer (Mechanical) bridges engineering expertise with commercial acumen to deliver tailored fire protection solutions. Working within the Commercial Department, you will support bid preparation, design fire safety systems, and ensure timely, accurate submission of tender documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design technically sound, cost‑effective fire protection solutions—including sprinkler systems, gaseous suppression systems, and fire doors—that align with client requirements and budget constraints.
• Review customer inquiries, develop well‑costed proposals, and define order‑winning strategies.
• Analyse administrative, commercial, and technical tender specifications and prepare detailed responses with timely clarifications.
• Conduct value‑engineering studies to optimise designs and ensure all tender aspects are addressed.
• Perform site visits and inspections to assess feasibility, identify project risks, and validate design assumptions.
