Tax Senior - Tax Compliance Team

About the role

EY is looking for an ambitious and motivated Tax Senior to join its Tax Compliance Team in Malta. The team works with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, helping them meet their tax obligations proactively and responsibly. The role offers the chance to develop technical knowledge alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on their Maltese tax compliance obligations and filing requirements.
• Help clients meet their ongoing tax obligations in a timely and efficient way.
• Support clients on direct tax matters and technical queries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with developments in tax legislation and practice.

Required profile

• A recognised accounting qualification.
• At least two years of relevant tax experience, ideally within an audit and accountancy firm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and openness to new challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
