Accounting & Compliance Reporting Senior

About the role

EY's Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) team offers integrated services to help clients meet reporting and regulatory obligations, including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, payroll and administrative support. As a Senior in the ACR team you will serve local and global clients as their single point of contact, working in an integrated way and collaborating with other EY business units.

Key responsibilities

• Post transactions and maintain accounting records
• Prepare management accounts, budgets and other financial reports required by clients
• Prepare IFRS and GAPSME-compliant financial statements
• Assist the entity's Directors in ensuring company compliance
• Help with daily administrative tasks and ad-hoc requests
• Handle general administration of bank accounts

Required profile

• Masters in Accountancy, or a Bachelor's degree with honours, or currently in the final stages of obtaining an ACCA qualification or equivalent
• Good written, IT and verbal communication skills
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and GAPSME reporting standards
• Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills
• Keen attention to detail, quality and accuracy
