Senior Legal Counsel – iGaming

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join a reputable iGaming operator based in Malta. The role focuses on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts while also providing legal support across IP, data protection, corporate, employment and dispute resolution matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate key commercial agreements with customers and suppliers.
• Provide strategic legal advice on complex commercial transactions.
• Support the business on intellectual property, data protection, corporate governance, employment law and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with in‑house stakeholders to ensure legal risk is managed effectively.
• Analyse commercial issues and present clear, actionable solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in a commercial or in‑house setting.
• Proven track record handling complex commercial contracts and providing strategic advice.
• Experience in IP, corporate, data protection or dispute resolution is highly desirable.
• Strong academic background and exposure to private practice or secondments.
• Ability to quickly grasp and advise on legal areas outside core expertise using commercial principles.
