Legal Counsel - Employment and Privacy

About the role

ARRISE is seeking a Legal Counsel with a focus on employment and privacy law to join its growing legal team. The role will provide strategic guidance on employment matters and ensure compliance with privacy regulations across the company's global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical, timely legal advice on employment issues, including terminations, complaints, and work‑schedule arrangements.
• Advise on privacy‑related matters and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
• Draft, review and negotiate employment and privacy contracts, policies and notices.
• Conduct in‑depth legal research on employment, privacy and emerging topics such as artificial intelligence, referencing case law and regulatory updates.
• Identify legal risks, propose solutions and support other departments as needed.
• Liaise with external advisors and regulatory authorities to resolve issues and maintain compliance.
• Develop templates, processes and policies to build a scalable legal function.
• Maintain records of group policies, monitor contractual obligations and stay up‑to‑date with legislative changes.

Required profile

• Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in employment and privacy law, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical and research abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
