Senior Integration Engineer

About the role

The Senior Integration Engineer will own the end‑to‑end design, governance and evolution of the bank’s integration landscape. You will ensure secure, efficient data exchange across internal systems, external partners and digital channels while supporting the bank’s digital transformation strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement complex integration solutions that align with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
• Define, maintain and promote integration standards, reference architectures and best‑practice patterns for APIs, event‑driven services, middleware platforms and managed file transfer.
• Architect and govern API frameworks, API gateways, service contracts and integration platforms to guarantee security, performance and observability.
• Establish and enforce enterprise‑wide managed file‑transfer standards using solutions such as MOVEit.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Data and Business teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and data‑protection requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship and governance for engineering teams, driving adoption of API‑first and event‑driven approaches.
• Drive continuous improvement in tooling, automation and DevOps practices to increase delivery speed and quality.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and delivering integration solutions in a large, regulated environment.
• Proven ability to act as a technical authority and mentor for engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, security and data‑protection standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across technical and business domains.
