Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

Twin Harbour Interactive develops strategy games and is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join its game development team in Malta. You will shape the frontend of the web client for the company's existing games, keeping the live systems stable and performing while improving the frontend.

Key responsibilities

• Work on the frontend of the web client for existing games, shaping design, development, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Use a modern stack including JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, Sass, Jest, Sentry, Sonar, GitHub and Jenkins, with automated build pipelines.
• Help build and maintain the frontend roadmap and deliver stable, testable, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with other teams on bug and performance monitoring, data warehouse solutions, analytics and game features.
• Take full ownership of complex features from design to post-release monitoring, with observability and scalability in mind.
• Give constructive feedback in code reviews and help enforce team coding practices.

Required profile

• Degree in computer science or a similar IT-related field and professional software development experience.
• Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams, with strong analytical skills.
• Enthusiasm for video games, preferably with prior industry experience.
• Fluent technical and business English; familiarity with agile and Scrum is an advantage.
