Lead QA Specialist - Strategy Games

About the role

Twin Harbour Interactive, part of Stillfront Group, develops strategy games played by millions worldwide. It is looking for a full-time hybrid Lead QA to set the quality standard across its game portfolio and build the team behind it. The role owns the quality health and release strategy of the live title WW3, working with the Head of QA and the Head of Product to deliver releases on Android, iOS and web while keeping the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the end-to-end test strategy, coverage standards and QA processes for WW3, a massively multiplayer long-term grand strategy game
• Lead bug triage and prioritization so critical defects are resolved
• Manage and mentor a team of QA specialists
• Proactively surface quality risks to leadership and hold the quality bar daily without disrupting release cadence
• Own product releases with the Producer, using KPIs such as defect density, test coverage and escape rate
• Research and invest in emerging AI technologies to modernize testing workflows

Required profile

• 5+ years in manual testing, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior role, or as a people manager or team lead
• Experience building and growing teams in the gaming industry, ideally in free-to-play, browser-based or mobile strategy games
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
• Based in or willing to relocate to Malta, with a valid work permit

Required skills

• Full-stack QA: proven experience across backend services and frontend UI, from early design concepts to final implementation
• Comfortable using AI tools and methodologies to speed up and improve QA processes
