Senior Automation QA Engineer

About the role

Moneybase is looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of its web applications. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks while collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for web applications.
• Build UI test suites using Playwright and Mocha (Cucumber optional).
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Design and execute API automation tests for RESTful services.
• Run cross‑browser tests via BrowserStack and integrate reporting with Allure Reports.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and quality gates using GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and conduct exploratory testing.
• Maintain test documentation and validate data using SQL.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in senior automation QA or SDET roles.
• Strong background with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright, Mocha, BrowserStack, and Allure Reports.
• Good knowledge of BDD/TDD and test automation architecture.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions) and Git workflows.
• Experience in API testing and SQL.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
