Security Engineer – Full Remote (Europe)

About the role

We are looking for a Security Engineer to own the protection of our AI companionship platform, its users and collaborators. The role is fully remote within Europe and reports directly to the Security Lead, offering hands‑on responsibility from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Perform weekly code reviews to identify and remediate application vulnerabilities.
• Track, prioritize and drive remediation of security findings across the technology stack.
• Coordinate external security audits and penetration tests and follow up on recommendations.
• Maintain and evolve the company risk register, supporting audit follow‑up and GRC documentation.
• Communicate emerging threats, produce security updates and run company‑wide phishing simulations.
• Monitor security alerts and provide coverage, including weekends, to ensure rapid response.
• Set up and manage IT access controls and related security processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on security professional comfortable taking full ownership of security initiatives.
• Experience working in fast‑growing technology environments, preferably with AI‑related products.
• Ability to collaborate with development, product and operations teams.
