Sales Executive - International Business

About the role

Salvo Grima Group, a family of companies founded in 1860 and active in international distribution, retail, wholesale and ship supply, is looking for a Sales Executive to join its commercial team. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships and supporting the Group's sales objectives across international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Analyse products, sales trends, distribution channels and sales targets.
• Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions aligned with company objectives.
• Negotiate commercial proposals while complying with company policies and standards.
• Coordinate the preparation and processing of sales proposals and agreements.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.
• Monitor industry developments, competitor activity and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with local and international teams to reach sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
• Travel to meet clients and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Self-motivated, highly organised and interested in international B2B sales.
• Customer-centric mindset and commitment to service excellence.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, confident with clients in person and virtually.
• Willing and able to travel as required.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Fluent written and spoken English; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
