R&D Samples Coordinator

About the role

The R&D Samples Coordinator supports Baxter's Malta R&D team by managing the logistical flow of samples used in testing and ageing processes. This role ensures traceability, compliance with EHS regulations, and efficient sample handling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage samples from reception to discard, including transport of boxes or pallets and use of a forklift when needed.
• Oversee climatic chambers and areas dedicated to real‑time and accelerated ageing processes.
• Maintain work areas in line with EHS regulations and support shipment of samples to other Baxter facilities or external partners.
• Perform most warehouse activities, ensuring proper storage and traceability of items.

Required profile

• O’ Level standard education.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment; lifter certification preferred.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook.
• ECDL certification.
