Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading building‑services company in Malta. The role reports directly to the Head of Projects and the COO, offering the chance to manage cost control on diverse construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bills of quantities from site measurements and completed works.
• Track variations, extra works and claimable items, and compile monthly payment applications with full documentation.
• Liaise with clients and consultants to obtain approvals and payment certificates.
• Coordinate with internal departments (accounts, estimating, site teams) to ensure accurate claims and invoicing.
• Measure completed works and perform quantity take‑offs using CAD, Bluebeam and PDF tools.
• Monitor material deliveries, maintain accurate records and organise project files.
• Schedule site visits, manage workload to meet deadlines and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Adhere to company policies, legal requirements and health‑and‑safety regulations, using required PPE and reporting hazards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma with more than five years of experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities, capable of interpreting technical information under pressure.
