Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure product compliance and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. The role involves working closely with customers and internal teams to secure approvals, manage quality documentation, and uphold regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain product approval from customers using PPAP, FAIR and ISIR processes.
• Produce and supply customer‑requested documents such as material reports, certificates and dimensional reports.
• Control the company’s quality plans, including PF, CP and FMEA.
• Maintain equipment calibration system and conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
• Manage internal non‑conformance and production‑on‑hold systems.
• Carry out scheduled quality audits and layout inspections, SPC and capability studies as required.
• Participate in APQP activities and creation of new part numbers.
• Perform secondary review and approval of part drawings.
• Control quarantine area and rework processes.
• Manage the IMDS system and ensure material conformity with REACH, RoHS, California 65 and related regulations.
• Train new Quality Engineers and support improvement initiatives.
• Provide limited cover for Final Inspectors, Goods Inward Inspector and the Quality Manager when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with automotive and industrial quality standards (PPAP, FAIR, ISIR, APQP, FMEA).
• Ability to conduct audits, manage non‑conformance, and supervise inspection activities.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements such as REACH, RoHS and California 65.
• Capability to train colleagues and support continuous‑improvement projects.
