About the role

As a Purchaser at Crane Currency in Malta, you will support the operational procurement of goods and services for the site, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and manage the purchase of goods and services required by the site.
• Secure competitive commercial terms that align with business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement measures to meet contractual commitments.
• Develop new sources of supply and benchmark alternative materials to deliver best value.
• Support the site’s Procurement Policy and advise heads of departments and peers.
• Review business continuity plans for critical goods and services.
• Assist the Strategic Sourcing Manager with critical suppliers and global agreements.

Required profile

• Diploma‑level education.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Level 3 Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification or equivalent.
• Impeccable employment history.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
