Production Technician

About the role

Baxter is seeking a Production Technician to operate, maintain, and continuously support production equipment. The role ensures efficient manufacturing processes, product quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards while contributing to process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment following Baxter procedures.
• Support engineering in installing, validating, and implementing new processes and improvements.
• Ensure full compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and process‑specific safety protocols.
• Operate and monitor production equipment to meet performance, quality, and schedule targets.
• Maintain accurate digital records of maintenance and production activities.
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with GMP standards.

Required profile

• Fully qualified at MQF Level 4 in an Electrical/Mechanical discipline.
• Wireman license A and/or B (considered an asset).
• Proven experience as a production technician or in a similar role.
• Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment and understanding of safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
