Production Operator

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, hands‑on Production Operator to join our small team in Qormi. You will work at the heart of our smart‑materials business, operating machinery, supporting engineers, and delivering finished mattresses to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machinery, assemble and package foam products.
• Assist engineers and technicians with equipment setup and workshop tasks.
• Perform quality‑control checks on foam and mattresses.
• Load, deliver and hand over mattresses and foam goods to customers safely.
• Purchase consumables, raw materials and tools following company procedures.
• Maintain stock levels and keep the production area organised.
• Ensure a clean, safe and orderly workspace.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to lift 20–25 kg regularly.
• Valid driver’s licence for customer deliveries.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a small, inter‑dependent team.
• Flexible to switch between production, deliveries, purchasing and support tasks.
• Presentable and professional, as you will represent the company to customers.
• Comfortable using email and simple spreadsheets for stock and purchase tracking.

Required skills

• Basic tool handling.
• Mechanical skills (a plus).
• Electrical skills (a plus).
• Spreadsheets for inventory tracking.
